Plot summary: Eighteen-year-old Sophie, who runs her late father’s hat shop, has a chance encounter with the mysterious wizard Howl who takes a liking to her. The meeting attracts the attention of the Witch of the Waste, who has been seeking Howl’s love for her own, and the Witch places a curse on Sophie, turning her into a 90-year-old woman with the inability to tell anyone about the curse. Sophie decides to seek out Howl in the Wastes, encountering and befriending an animated scarecrow she names Turnip Head. They eventually come across Howl’s moving castle; inside, Sophie is greeted by the fire demon Calcifer that powers the castle and recognizes that Sophie has been cursed. Calcifer offers to break the curse in exchange if Sophie can break the bond between Howl and Calcifer. When Howl arrives, Sophie claims that she is the castle’s new cleaning lady. As Sophie adjusts to life in the castle, she discovers that the front door is a magic portal that leads to several destinations. She also comes to learn that Howl is vain and immature, and that the Witch of the Waste’s vengeful behavior was due to how Howl treated her in the past once he discovered her ugly appearance.

Howl’s Moving Castle, is an adoring, heart-felt movie by Hayao Miyazaki based on the novel by Dianne Wayne is wonderfully built story of beauty, jealousy, war, romance and that touch of magic. The beautifully depicted animation, the speed and and the fleetingness of this movie is so touchingly beautiful piece of artwork. The storyline is heart felt, the characters are so adoring, the power and the of one’s life is wonderfully depicted. This movie presents the terror of war, the bravery our darling little Sophie as our heroin. We all love those kind of movies about romance, that little sad story that comes along with our characters, the strong power of two kingdoms fighting. It does not matter what kind of person you are who are not into a movie like this but we’ve all watched it a least once or maybe even twice, but we all fall in love with simple beauty of love and war that ourselves wager against one’s self. We let our imagination go wild with story like “Howl’s Moving Castle” with the simplistic but beautifully complex story of witches, wizards, magic, the peaceful to the scary sceneary of the movie. The detail of “Howl’s Moving Castle” is gorgeous, the colours, the character design and the strange depiction of creatures and other sorts of building structures.

protectedimagephpI adore this film, I’ve seen it many times and have not gotten bored from “Howl’s Moving Castle” beccause something attracs me into wanting to watch over and over again. As I said before, it does not matter if you don’t like this type of movie but it is movie at least once whether you liked it or not. I highly recommend “Howl’s Moving Castle” as film to watch i you haven’t seen if not even more than once. I give “Howl’s Moving Castle” out of 10: 9/10

What a “Bloody” mess!?

Blood the Last Vampire story and art by Tamaoki Benkyo

Murder, blood, lust, power, death, mystery and vampires. What more could you want in a manga? Those little things that make you crave about wanting of something you can’t have. Sense of the speed of the fighting. The helplessness of being a human who has created an immortal. The experience of death, blood and pleasure. We feel as see the darkness that spread over “Blood the Last Vampire” as we as the viewer engross ourselves into reading such horror. The beautifully structure piece of artwork created by Tamaki Benkyo presents a deathly battles of humans consumption of corruptions of wanting more. The immortals and the created monstrous vampires who seem to fit in as normal beings. The suffering and lost minds of humans kind and vampire.

The art work is seemingly beautiful. The power and emotion are built to connect the terror and sadness felt in the one volumed manga. The bloody mess of blood murder and destruction of ones self. The pages of simple but very complex drawings artworks with very few words in most of the pages seem to grab your attention. The monochromatic look gives the reader a touch of darkness as each page explains the deadly story of vampires and humans.

“Blood the Last Vampire” Is a very good old style manga to read at least once in anyone’s life time. It just piques just anyone’s interest even if not a horror fanatic. Just the thrilling pleasure of blood, violence sadness and cold hearted vampires seems to pop out in anyone’s world. This sense shrouded darkness that over layers the manga piece depicts the beauty of the darkness. This is probably a good recommended manga to read if not have not been read before. Although it’s a very old but a lot of old manga and anime is pretty good. But it’s always good to read over again and feel that strangely beautiful manga piece.

I rate this manga out of 10: 8.75/ 10

Dreams are meant to scare you

Well there has been this manga that I have been reading it’s called “Afterschool nightmare“. Manga has a very interesting concept, of coruse females are mostly to read it because it has some form of “Yaoi” in it, which makes males more put off by the fact that has boy on boy action but this manga also has “Yuri” which probably make pique the intrest of males. It practically has almost anything youcan think of that is wrong and disgusting to all loving romance, sadness and anger.

The storyline is a very interesting plot, though it may sound like it’s something I pulled out of my head but for some reason you just want to what it’s all about or curious to what is going to happen. Of course there is going to be disgusting or horrific/ gory images and sometime it just some that you don’t expect that will happen or think that it’s too cliche. Well I’m not telling your wrong, it’s only natural to not like something that your not interested in reading but this is a very intriguing manga piece to read. Setona Mizushiro writes and draws up a very concept for the story, how the characters are depcited, how their emotional unstable at a certain point. While this manga you start to think to yourself what am I like? what will be my true form or will ever except myself for I am? We as the viewers reading begins to think why would she write and draw a story like.
